(Wilkes-Barre, PA — November 2023) — Eric Joseph Esoda, president and CEO of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center (NEPIRC) announced the addition of new members to the organization’s board of directors and honored three retiring board members for their dedicated service to advancing the organization’s mission during a recent networking event.

NEPIRC’s new board members come from diverse professional backgrounds, representing the organization’s 11-county region. They share a commitment to further NEPIRC’s mission of aiding small to mid-sized manufacturers and supporting the growth and success of the manufacturing industry.

The newly appointed board members include Mitchell Amoriello, Production Manager at Truck Lite; Mike Brown, Executive Vice President & COO at Finch Manufacturing & Technology; Marc Dagata, President at Metal Integrity; Christine Jensen, Administrator at PA CareerLink Luzerne County; Dr. Christine Kiesinger, Principal at CEK Communications Inc.; Kate Logan, Quality Systems Manager at Noble Biomaterials; John J. Mulhern Jr., President & CEO of Ashley Machine & Tool; Jim Cromyak, Procurement Manager at ON SEMI; Marni Sherrill, HR Manager at Hydro Extrusions NA and Ron Vogel, Regional Representative at Rapid Response.

NEPIRC also recognized the conclusion of membership terms for three long-standing members of the board – William Cockerill, Scranton Central Labor Union AFL-CIO; Garry Hartman, President of Cheetah Chassis and Bruce Daniels, Controller and CFO, Medico Construction Equipment. Collectively, those individuals represent 50 years of NEPIRC board experience.

“NEPIRC is grateful for the leadership that Mr. Cockerill, Mr. Hartman and Mr. Daniels provided to our organization over the past three decades and the way in which they drove us to become one of the highest performing economic development organizations in the country,” said Esoda. “Under their direction, NEPIRC has received numerous awards, including two for Excellence in Economic Development from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and assisted our manufacturers in the creation of thousands of manufacturing jobs across our eleven counties,” he added.

NEPIRC looks forward to the valuable input and leadership of its incoming board members and is confident that regional manufacturers will benefit from the representation of these individuals, along with NEPIRC’s current board members.
