Courtney Deignan joined NEPIRC in July 2022 as the Business Advisor for Luzerne and Columbia counties. She has worked in manufacturing for nearly 10 years, primarily for some of the largest food manufacturing companies in the world (both pet food and human food). At NEPIRC, Courtney develops and fosters relationships with the organization’s valued manufacturers and clients within her territory, focusing on helping them develop solutions to meet their needs. She is committed to promoting NEPIRC’s mission throughout the region to drive increased awareness of the organization’s services and the manufacturing industry as a whole
Courtrney obtained her Bachelor of Science in business administration from Misericordia University, graduating summa cum laude. She is a member of various organizations like the Wilkes University Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Industrial Advisory Committee, Central Columbia High School’s Occupational Advisory Committee, Johnson College Hazleton’s Advisory Committee and Johnson College’s Women in Industry group. Additionally, Courtney is a 2023 graduate of Leadership Northeast’s Amplify Women’s Leadership Certificate Program. She also supports numerous local animal shelters and charities.
