National Manufacturing Day, celebrated on the first Friday of October, has always been a great opportunity for NEPIRC to highlight the many benefits the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania gets to enjoy as a result of our state’s robust manufacturing sector. NEPIRC’s annual MFG DAY Best Practices Summit & Expo aims to empower manufacturers, change public perception about the industry, highlight its economic impact and introduce more people to available career opportunities.
What Does MFG DAY Entail?
MFG DAY offers attendees the opportunity to participate in educational breakout sessions; hear from nationally acclaimed speakers; meet and network with manufacturing and non-manufacturing decision makers, buyers and business owners; interact with PA-made products; see the great technological advancements in the industry; celebrate the many achievements of our manufacturing sector; and more.
Who Should Attend MFG DAY?
Manufacturing executives and decision makers; non-manufacturers who provide a service or product that benefits the manufacturing industry; economic development organizations; high school and college students; colleges/universities; manufacturing advocates and enthusiasts; government officials; technology, robotics and AI companies; Northeastern Pennsylvania champions; and anyone who would like to learn more about the manufacturing industry or is considering a manufacturing career.
MFG DAY 2025 Agenda
The keynote speaker and agenda for MFG DAY 2025 are still being decided and developed. Once this information is confirmed, you will have access to it here. Past keynote and breakout session topics have included leadership and team development, workplace safety, continuous improvement, quality management system (QMS) updates, cybersecurity, AI, workforce attraction and retention, careers in manufacturing, advanced manufacturing technology, supply chain, automation integration and women’s leadership in manufacturing.

Ticket Pricing for Attendees
Tickets are only $75 for manufacturers and $125 for non-manufacturers and include breakfast, admission to the Expo, lunch with keynote presentation and breakout sessions.
Once your ticket is purchased via our online ticketing website, you are good to go. You do not need to print out your online ticket for entry to the event. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door, but it is strongly recommended to register ahead of time.

In 2024, 112 companies supported MFG DAY, and 108 of them exhibited at the event.
MFG DAY is at Mohegan Pennsylvania! This is Wilkes-Barre’s local casino and convention center. The Arena is a completely different venue, so do not go there. This is the same venue the event has taken place at for the past three years. There will be signs when you arrive onto the property directing you to the event entrance.
Yes, Mohegan Pennsylvania has its own hotel on the property. It is in the same building as the convention center where MFG DAY will take place. Please email Chelsey@NEPIRC.com to learn more about the hotel room block available for Thursday, 10/2.
There are huge parking lots on the Mohegan Pennsylvania property. You will want to follow signs for Convention Center/Hotel when you arrive onto the property. These signs will direct you to the proper parking lot. There is no cost to park.
MFG DAY 2025 registration begins at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, October 3, and the event concludes at 3 p.m.
